For the coming month The Wordsworth Trust will be my home. On arrival, I found previous Poet in Residence Zaffar Kunial's Faber New Poets II pamphlet waiting and there through the window of my room, this astoundingly beautiful view.
Grasmere sings with the wonder of wandering and when not walking, I cannot wait to spend time with the Trust's collections and get involved with poetry outreach. The leather topped desk here is just like mine at home. I will save it for rainy days, of which I'm told there'll be plenty. I look forward to heading out onto the fells and with Wordsworth in mind, compose as I walk.
