Earlier this year I was photographed by Uta Kögelsberger for 'Uncertain Subjects'. Panel by panel her billboards are posted and re-posted with multiple head and bare shoulder portraits accompanied by quotes about how each sitter foresees Brexit will impact them and to share their position on the matter.

I was honoured to take part in this moment of public art activism. My billboard, above, said: I am deeply concerned that the government intends to scrap the Human Rights Act if we leave the EU. It protects fairness, dignity and respect for everyone. The impact this could have on already marginalised groups is terrifying.

Another from 'Uncertain Subjects' to demonstrate the incredible way the sitters in each of Kögelsberger's portraits are layered to generate surreal collages to symbolise the multifaceted debate and represent a diverse picture of the UK population.
