Northern Drift broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 today, presented by Elizabeth Alker. The idea behind this programme is a triumph: poetry and music performed in Hebden Bridge's renowned Trades Club to a live audience.
Was really lovely to be asked to read a trio of poems from my forthcoming collection Outlandish (Bloodaxe Books, May 26th) interwoven with music by Philip Glass, Nicola Matteis and Max Richter played by Rakhi Singh and Eliza McCarthy from the Manchester Collective.
