'Paisley' is Poem of the Week

Today 'Paisley' is Poem of the Week in The Scotsman. The broadsheet newspaper was first established as a radical political paper in 1817. Extract below:

Our poem of the week is 'Paisley' by Jo Clement, from her debut collection Outlandish. Jo lives in the north of England, with roots in the Roma Traveller community. At a young age she was forced to in Darlington where she grew up on a council estate. Her poetry considers notions of otherness, under-represented identities, communities under threat, and sings of wild beauty and brutality.
